The purpose of the women's home is more than the removal of destructive behaviors or addictive substances. Our mission priority is to be a tool through which Jesus can minister personally to each woman through His truth and holiness. He gives wholeness to spirit, mind and body as each receives His unconditional love, mercy and grace.

Philippians 1:6 is one of my favorite verses because my life's story is proof of it's truth. God began His good work in my life in 1980 and has been perfecting me in His image even to this day.

From early in my Christian walk, missions has been a significant part of my life. It was through missions work in Bolivia that God called me to study and prepare for full-time ministry as a pastor. It has been very apparent that my being at Pittsburgh City Outreach is combination of both missions and pastoral ministry.

At PCO I have the wonderful opportunity to minister to others through outreach and evangelism as well as the opportunity to tend to those that He has placed within my care. Inner city ministry has greatly challenged me to learn about another completely different culture and to also learn a new language...so, I am trying to become fluent in street as well as Spanish..!

My greatest heart's desire is to reach lost and hurting women so that Jesus can bring to them the same wholeness and healing that He gave to me. His truth has set me free and I know that what He did, He can do for others who are lost, broken, abused, rejected and hopeless. He wants to give them a future and a hope as well as life and life abundantly.
